Jay-Jay and I both like to sleep in our Daddy’s lap. Jay is rather jealous of Daddy, but if I get in his lap while Jay is asleep it all works out. Daddy was a bit worried when I decided to lay my paw on Jay’s tummy. He thought it would wake Jay up and he would grrr at me.
I love Jay, but he is old fashion about mixed relationships. He tells me. “Amber, you are a cat and I am a dog“. Sigh. Well, at least I get a snuggle in when we are napping and he doesn’t know.
Purrrs to all – Amber
Tigger has to go back to the see Dr. Kevin today. I’m not against him getting one more shot of antibiotic ‘just in case’. We’ll see how it goes. I think he is doing much better. I pray that we have managed to get him through all this.
One thing for certain, he is back to being his old loveable, cuddly self.
Now if I can get his sister, Amy, to stop picking on him all the time we may solve his problem. Her sneak attacks are not helping keep him calm at all. Are you listening, Amy? Cut it out!
When Mommy asks me real nice, I sometimes help her sort the laundry. After I got everything out of the basket it made this nice pile of cloths that smelled like her and Daddy. Hmmmm.
I started sorting while Mommy was in the other room, and when she returned, she found me asleep on the job. I figured if Lisa could nap while making the bed, surely it would be alright.
Mommy didn’t seem to mind.
Grrrrr’s to all, Jay Jay
OK, so Mommy asked me to help make the beds. I was working on it, honest I was. I AM an OLD cat you know, and I got this far and the bed felt soooooo good and I, well, I got sleepy and decided I’d take a nap before I finished.
I’ll get around to finishing in a little while. Right now this bed is just fine the way it is. Now take the flashy box and go find some other cat doing (or not) their chores.
I do not understand why Mikey wants to complain about doing dishes (see previous post). I have to clean the bathroom sink.
I think I’m the right kitty for cleaning the bathroom sink, I match it purr-fectly.
But first, where did Mommy put the dish cloth? I mean it’s demeaning enough for a man-cat to be asked to do household chores, don’t you think?
I’ll be glad when Mommy can retire so we don’t have to help out so much around here.
We know how to handle these cold days.We curl up together in this nice chair and keep each other all snug and warm. Sometimes it me, Maggie Mae, our mother Precious, and Amber; like in this picture. Other times its two or three other kitties. The chair will only hold 3 kitties, we tried to get more in, but couldn’t.
Mommy says it hasn’t gotten this cold for this long in many years. It’s so cold that Thomas T. doesn’t even want to go outside! He is usually at the door early in the morning begging to go out. After a few tries the other day he has given up and just sits in the window instead. He says it is too cold, even for him.
Mommy has to go back to work today, she says. She has been cleaning and straightening up the cottage on her days off. We like to watch, even though we often get in her way. She is always telling us, “Move Kitties!” She knows we just want to see what kind of thing she my unearth that we can use for a toy.
We intend to stay in our chair or on Mommy’s bed and keep warm. We feel sad that some kitties and doggies don’t have a nice warm cottage to stay in, or beds and chairs, or human laps to curl up on. We pray they can make it through this cold spell ok.
Purrrs, Maggie Mae
